Please share a memory of Carl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carl Eb Crawford was born March 16, 1926 and had a grand reunion with his Mom and Dad on August 8, 2009.  He was born in Farmington, Arkansas, the only child of Eb and Jura Crawford.  Carl started dating Louise Gregory at 14 and was married on October 28, 1945.  They were a true example of a loving marriage and were together for 63 years.   Carl didn't get to attend his graduation from Jenks High School in 1944 because he had been drafted.  He served aboard the U.S.S. Shangri-La aircraft carrier and was a first gunner on the 5" 38 cannons.   Carl returned to his farming roots in 1967 when he bought 110 acres between Bristow and Kellyville.  He continued to work at DuPont until his retirement at age 53 in 1979.  Even though he worked in an office all his life, his heart was always in the country.   He is survived by his wife Louise and their five children: Margie Kirk and her husband Sam of Sapulpa; Carlya Buchanan of Sapulpa; Mitch Crawford and his wife Teresa of Shady Shores, TX; Kelly Crawford and his wife Phyllis of Noble; Suzanne McKinney of Tulsa.  He has 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.   Visitation: Monday, August 10, 2009 5-9 pm, Tuesday 9-9 Service: 2PM Wednesday, August 12, 2009, Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel Cemetery: Green Hill Memorial Gardens
