Obituary of LaWayna Marie Dalessandro

LaWayna Marie Dalessandro was Born December 16, 1957, she passed from this earth on May 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Sawyer and her mother Sybil Sawyer. She is survived by her two sons: Angelo Wayne Dalessandro, age 30, and Wayne Christopher Dalessandro, age 26, her two sisters Sharry M. Bowers and JuLayne S. Trimble, and two nephews William G. Heichberger, IV and Craig L. Dipley, II. She also took great pride in and felt blessed to be the YAYA of Jaylon C. Culver. LaWayna was born into this world in Riverside, California, and grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She attended Sapulpa Jr. High School and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1976. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University. LaWayna was a wonderful and loving mother to her sons Angelo and Wayne. She loved them tremendously and was very proud of them. She was a great and loyal sister and a true friend to all who knew her. LaWayna was very active in the Blue Star Mothers group and spent many years fund raising, sending packages to our troops over seas and volunteering for many other activities, even after her oldest son returned from war. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, frequenting garage sales, Diva slumber parties with her friends and arts and crafts. LaWayna impacted the lives of many people, the majority of whom are here today.
