Obituary of Raymond Leroy Smith

Raymond Leroy Smith, age 54, passed away peacefully June 7, 2020 due to a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born November 10, 1965 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Leroy and Allene smith. Raymond attended Mounds schools and for many years he worked as a truck driver and heavy machine operator. He said he did it because he enjoyed it and to survive. Raymond was a dedicated father first and foremost. He treasured his children and embraced every moment with them. He especially loved his role as Papa to all his grandchildren. Raymond is preceded in death by his father Leroy Raymond Smith; grandfather Leo Smith; grandmother Dorothy Smith; grandfather D.L. Victory; and grandmother Wandalea Victory. He is survived by his mother Allene Smith; daughter Racheal Salazar and her husband Eli Salazar, her three children Zachariah, Zoey and Paetin; daughter Bobbie Oney and her husband Brandon Oney, her two children Kayla and Trenton; daughter Heather Horse and her husband Jeremy Horse, their five children Adrean, Andre, Aireana, Akira, Ayla and one great grandchild Taelynn; son R.J. Smith and wife Donita Smith, their son Waylon; brother Floyd Nelson and wife Cheryl Nelson; brother Scott Smith; sister Kim Lynch; sister Kelly Smith brother Mike Smith; niece Wendy Mcaulay and her husband Steven Mcaulay; nephew Cody Fargo; niece Brooke Smith; and nephew Justin Lynch.
