Dearest Yvon,
You are now reunited with your older brother Daniel. He always missed you dearly, you now have eternity together, and I am deeply happy about it.
You built your life - a legendary life - with courage, energy and audacity, while offering your friendship and love unreservedly.
To me, your nephew, you brought so much: your experience, comfort, support. Most of all: your taste for cooking, the happiness of serving a good meal. I am honored to be told to resemble you. I know you were disappointed when I decided not to move to the USA, but you understood my choice.
You will continue guiding me with your convictions and your vision for your art. I will always remember the key rule of tasting before serving! I have no doubt that you are already cooking for your loved ones.
