Aunt Sally,We want to thank you for the Christian example you set for us over the years. You showed us in WORD and in DEED. You witnessed to us in the very way you lived. You were a prayer warrior and I know you sent up petitions on behalf of us and our family many times, because you told me so. Even though we miss you already, we rejoice in the knowledge that you are at home with our Lord and we'll see you again some day !!!!!!!!!!! We love you and will treasure your memory FOREVER !!

Aunt Sally, you will be missed. We all love you, and we will see you again. I can remeber staying with Aunt Sally, we would all sneek over to Sugarloaf hill and try to catch horned toads. All we ever caught was trouble when she found out were we had been. I remember popcornballs at Halloween, wahoo games, and farkle. And I wouldn't be surprised if Aunt Sally and Grandma A are enjoying a game of farkle at this very moment. I am glad I know that I will see them, and all of our loved ones again.

I had so many sweet times with you Grandma. I loved spending the night on that baptist palet that you would make on the dinning room floor. To wake up with the sun beaming in the room and Grandma fixing breakfast in her kitchen. The peanutbutter cookies that she made were the best (I got to help sometimes)and then sneaking up on her flour can to reach into her gingerbead cookie jar. I can still hear her call out from the living room "Who is in my cookie jar?" All the Christmas Eve's that she made special, packing up and going to Grandma's house and hearing her voice calling "Merry Christmas". She shared the Bible with my brothers and I. She encourage us to know the Lord at a very young age in our lives. It was a very sad day when we moved away from Grandma but I loved it when I would spend a week in the summer with her or when she would spend a week with us. I will all ways remember the good in you Grandma. I am very glad to of made the trip this summer I will never forget tucking you in bed and saying good night for the last time. The sweet smile you had on your face. I love you. Your Granddaughter-Jeanine

"Grandma Sally" as we lovingly referred to her was and always will be a special friend in our lives. She shared her spiritual insights, her family memories, and taught us to be faithful to the end, as she was. We will miss her and we pray that all of her friends and family will strive to serve JESUS as she did and once again, we shall all see her one day.

In the four years That Grandma lived here in Tennessee, she became Grandma to me. That's what our relationship was like. She loved me and I loved her and we knew that and she became a special part of my life. I loved playing farkle with her and hear her tell stories of her life. She was strong in her faith and I'm thankful she is with her Saviour because that's all she wanted. When I think of the joy she's experiencing, it makes me long even more to be there with her. And one day I will be! Praise God forevermore!

So sorry for the loss of this Saint of the Lord. She is where we are all striving to be...in the Presence of the Almighty Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is a bittersweet moment. Carolyn, we are praying for you and your family at the homegoing of your mom. It is such a difficult thing to lose a parent, such a sense of loss because the person you would normally turn to for comfort in this type of situation is no longer there. May the Grace of God sustain you and speak peace to your spirit. God Bless. We love you.

I'm so thankful for the past four years, getting to know Grandma Sally. I loved to hear her talk about her life and especially her testimony of God's faithfulness to her. With her quick wit and feisty spirit, she spiced up our family gatherings. Our church family loved her and appreciated her dedicated prayer life. She definitely left her mark on my life and I will never forget her...but I sure will miss her!

I will always remember Grandma Troxell as a lady with a lot of spunk. She grew up in hard times, but it didn't make her a hard person. She enjoyed the simple things in life - playing cards, going to wal-mart, singing picture frames, and most especially spending time with her family. She had a laugh that could fill up a room. She was steadfast in her faith and not afraid to tell anyone what she thought. We will miss her dearly. Wee, Laura, Dalton, Kylie & Collin Ng

Grandma Troxell was such a sweet lady, and loved the LORD Jesus. She became my grandmother when my father (Wayne) married her daughter (Janet) when I was 15 yrs. old. I now she is receiving the reward of her faith in Jesus, by His tender mercies, according to the promises in His WORD! I grieve for the family, but rejoice for Grandma. Aunt Sally was always my favorite Aunt. As a child there were so many times that I would be out playing with friends and we would stop by and sit on the stoop and talk with her. (My Mom had no idea I was so far from my neighborhood) She always made us feel very welcome and that she was glad to see us. She told wonderful stories of her past and was acutally very funny. I will miss her very much until we see each other again. With love, Deirdre (Troxell) Foster (Daughter of Hubert Troxell, brother-in-law to Sally)

This lady was a great mother to me, an example, an encourager. Imperfect as we all are but desperately wanting to provide the best for her children and see them all in the kingdom of God. She left a great big hole in my life when she left us. My momma, and everyone's Grandma Aunt Sally. When we see her again, she can hear us!
