Please share a memory of Loretta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Loretta Jean Lawrence was born April 14, 1936 in Everton, Arkansas to Etsel Herman Hunter and Flossie Mae Gentry Hunter. Loretta enjoyed living out in the country and gardening. Every place she lived was absolutely beautiful with multiple flowers and fruit trees, you can say she had a green thumb. She also enjoyed music, she would sing and dance around the house as she did her daily chores. Loretta was an extremely talented interior decorator, everyone that walked into her house was simply fascinated by the decor. She enjoyed traveling and camping. She’s Preceded in death by her parents, Etsel and Flossie Hunter; her sons Christopher Dean Benson and Tommy Gene Benson; her daughter, Michele Renee Houston; and a grandson, Mathew NeeSmith. She is survived by her two sisters, Marcella Gately and Darlene Clark; her daughters Monica Gail Dimick and Melissa Partee. She has seven Grandchildren, their children and numerous nieces and nephews. Loretta will rest beside her son Christopher Dean Benson. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Chandler Therapy and Living Center. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 9:30 am on Monday, August 31st, 2020 at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. 6500 S. 129th E. Ave, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in the Apostles section.
