Mildred “Gaylyn” Davidson was born in Athens, Georgia to Benjamin and Cleli Christian on February 24, 1932. She went to be with the Lord August 25, 2020 where she was reunited with her husband of more than 40 years, Clayton Davidson, in her new Heavenly Home. Gaylyn grew up and graduated from high school in Georgia and with her first marriage moved to Oklahoma. Along her varied career path, she worked for South Western Bell, worked as a dog groomer, at Hissom and finally retired after working at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for 10 years. She was a loving mother who put everyone to work at family gatherings. No one could stay idle with Gaylyn around. She loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church. She and Clayton were active members for many years at Saint Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Sand Springs. Gaylyn was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is survived by son Dean Bond and wife Lynn; son Randy Bond; daughter Rita Belcher; daughter Jody Anderson and husband Dennis; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private family services are being held at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family is requiring masks be worn at Funeral Service. www.greenhillok.com
