Rex and Linda met at Commerce High School and married soon after. Together they raised two children and attended every sporting event, extracurricular activity, and school program for both their children and all their grandchildren. Together they loved to work in the yard and their home was always the central gathering place for friends and family activities. Rex, a.k.a. “Papa”, shared a passion for sports and faithfully supported the Oklahoma Sooners, rain or shine. Linda, a.k.a. “Nana”, loved to read, go to craft shows, quilt, crochet, and attempt any new crafty idea or fad. Nana and Papa are survived by their children, Troy Don Witzansky and Betsey Ellen Saltzman and their spouses Denise Witzansky and Michael Saltzman, grandchildren Zachary & Olivia Witzansky and Samuel & Max Saltzman. Rex Eugene Witzansky, born June 2, 1941, passed on to Heaven on September 10, 2020. Rex was born in Joplin, Missouri to August and Ella Witzansky. He was the second of three children.
