On September 18, 2020, Bonnie Jean Bowman, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 86. Bonnie was born September 20, 1933 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Cora (Barrett) Scribner. Bonnie was one of thirteen children. On February 19, 1950, Bonnie married Thomas Bowman. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, her mother, Cora, sisters Lucille, Mildred, Betty Jo, Mary Katherine, Wanda Marie and brothers Duane (Sonny), Lorenzo Dow (L.D.) and David. She is survived by her son, Larry, and his wife Jennifer, granddaughters Sarah Lopp, Dakota Still and Cora Still. She is also survived by sisters Donna Lundy, Peggy Stockton, Dorothy Mobley and brother John Scribner and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie loved life, Jesus and people. She was a fun-loving, glitter wearing, Bingo playing wife, mother and grandmother. She never met a stranger and has left a long-lasting impression on every single person she ever met. Services are being held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am with services at 11:00 am. www.greenhillok.com
