Obituary of Timothy Mark Felix

Please share a memory of Timothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Timothy Mark Felix from Kellyville Oklahoma was 61 years old when he passed away on October 10, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. Tim was always friendly and never met a stranger. He had no children of his own but had a host of little cowboys he loved to help. He loved his family. and he was always one to tell you like it is. He had a host of friends, from work, cowboying and his auctions. Tim was born October 30, 1958 in Sapulpa Oklahoma at Bartlett Hospital to Jencie and Amos Felix. He graduated from Kellyville High School in 1976 and began working at Federated Metal Corporation. During this time he attended and graduated from Tulsa Welding School. His next job was at Dupont Inc. and then eventually moved on to cowboying for the Dillingham Ranch in the Okmulgee area. Tim later became employed by Creek Nation as a heavy equipment operator where he spent several years until he became disabled. Tim had two sisters Paula Harlan (Danny) and Robin Whitehouse. Nieces Starla Plum and Gena Coursey and nephews Tim Taber and Ethan Whitehouse. Great Neices and Nephews were: Nevaeh McDonald, Emily, Mya, Sadie Taber, Cheyenne Plum, Aspyn and Allie Whitehouse, Wade Hudson, Braden and Colton Plum A special aunt, Sarah Whinery and husband Phil were always there for Tim and highly favored him throughout his life. Tom and Phyllis Holcomb, who he adopted after losing his mother and father, referred to them as “Ma and Pa and spent much of his late life with them. Tim had a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins. Some of Tim’s favorite past times were deer hunting and rodeoing, where in his younger days he rode bareback horses and bulls as well as calf roping, and team roping. Later in life, he became an avid button pusher and computer guru, buying bits and spurs and anything else that caught his eye on the internet. In his past time, he loved to attend auctions and garage sales, finding hidden gems everywhere he went. Tim loved his horses and his dogs, especially Scamp a Catahoula, and Speck a Border Collie. Speck loved Tim and stayed right by his side for the last 6 years and she loved her treat he gave her every night. Tim demonstrated his talents tying knots, making anything braided and tooling leather. He was always good to donate his hand-made halters and goods for benefit auctions. Though he will be thoughtfully missed by a host of friends and relatives, Tim gave his life to the Lord and is now up in Heaven with a new body, enjoying his family and friends who preceded him in his rest. Tim will forever be in our hearts and will be remembered by friends and family in the years to come. www.greenhillok.com
