Obituary of Betty Jean Martin

Betty Jean Martin was born in Nashville, Tennessee on March 7, 1946 to Hillman Franklin Wright Jr. and Elizabeth Peach Wright. Betty graduated from Owasso High School in 1964, before attending college to pursue a career as a nurse. Betty enjoyed listening to all kinds of music, writing, and watching the news. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved being outside, gardening and flowers. She did all kinds of crafts, especially flower arrangements. She also enjoyed pizza parties with her grandkids and caring for her beautiful pet birds. Most of all, she appreciated having a good laugh. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Hillman and Elizabeth Wright, and sister Margaret Hoover. Betty is survived by Brother Ewing Wright of Tulsa, OK; Daughter Donna Peters and husband Robert of Collinsville, OK; Son Gary Evans Jr and wife Schelley of Stone Bluff, OK; Son Brian Evans of Owasso, OK; Granddaughter Kaley Evans of Tulsa, OK; Grandsons Jimmy Evans of Stone Bluff, OK and Tyler Peters of Owasso, OK; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
