Melvin P. "Bud" Pritchard of Sapulpa died Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at his home. He was born March 7, 1930 in Sapulpa and lived here all his life.
On June 6, 1984, Bud married Wreatha Cox in Kiefer, Oklahoma. He was retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Company as a technical serviceman. He was part owner of the Deep Rock Bottling Company of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was a longtime member of the First Christian Church of Kiefer. Bud was an avid bowler, golfer and fisherman. He was a member of the Sapulpa Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James P. and Bertha Pritchard and his brother, Albert E. "Stoop" Pritchard.
Bud is survived by his wife, Wreatha; step-son David Cox and wife, Gina; granddaughters, Sarah and Anna Cox; brothers, Paul Pritchard and wife, Kay and Leon Pritchard and wife, Rita; special nephew, Jim and his family, Melinda, Shelby and Shadow; and many other nieces and nephews.
