Tommy J McDaniel of Mannford, Oklahoma went to be with the lord on November 23, 2020 at the age of 90. Tommy was born in Drumright, Oklahoma to William and Martha McDaniel.
Tommy married Louiese Ivy on May 8, 1948. He and his wife enjoyed doing everything together. The couple once built a fireplace together. Tommy would do anything for his family. He had a big heart with so much love and care for children. Together they were foster parents and had around 60 foster children through their home. The family hosted as many as 6 foster children at once and had to create an assembly line to get everyone ready for school in the mornings. Tommy and Louiese volunteered as Park Attendants at Lake Keystone. Tommy was a hard worker and did anything extra for his family that he could. He enjoyed football, OU and Dallas were his favorite teams, he enjoyed visiting with people, walking through the halls at Cimarron Pointe Nursing Home, he also would push residents in their wheelchairs to the dining room. Tommy worked 32 years for CE-NATCO pipe company until they shut the place down. He never let Louiese work outside of the home as he said it was his job to support the family. Tommy was faithful and took his family to Church to know the Lord. He was a Deacon in the church and was very serious about it. He also drove a bus for the Church ministry, picking up children in the area and taking them to Church. Tommy loved to read his Bible and spend time with his family.
