When I was a young Police Officer in Sapulpa, I met Trooper Sam McReynolds. We became instant friends. On many occasions I would do ride alongs with him. He was extremely patient with me and my hundreds of questions. My respect of Sam was one of the main factors in me wanting to become an Oklahoma State Trooper. He inspired me and was my friend. Rest in peace Retired Trooper 218, call sign Young 37. I will never forget.
