Marcella Mae (Huckstep) Wood was born September 5, 1933 in Elgin, Kansas to Treva (Clayton) and Clarence Huckstep. She graduated from Peru High School in 1951.
On September 5, 1951 Marcella married Walter Wood. Together they had seven children, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren. Their children are Yvonne Rosson (Johnny), Niotaze, Kansas; Wayne Wood (Linda), Tulsa, Oklahoma; Eric Wood (Teresa), Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Karen Tearl, Sedan, Kansas; Orville Wood (RaDonna), Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Scott Wood (Shirley), Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Cynthia Woessner Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
She has a sister, Catherine (Katy) Small. And 3 sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Marcella also had 2 grandsons that preceded her in death, Harvey Tearl Jr. and Russell Wood. Her husband, Walter passed away October 6, 2020.
