Emmet Cleveland Guest February 8, 1938 - January 16, 2021 Emmet Cleveland Guest, 82, of Porum, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Emmet was born February 8, 1938 to Chester Herbert & Victoria Betty (Smith). He went to school at Sapulpa Public Schools. He married his loving bride Mae (Anglin) on September 22, 1960 in Neosho, Missouri. He joined the United States Navy on September 22, 1955. He was part of an elite force known as the Seabees. The Seabees were 13 men construction battalions who built landing strips, encampments, roads, etc. He served for 20 years. He was stationed all over the world and served 4 tours in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on September 22, 1975 with a rank of Senior Chief. Following that time, he worked as a Field Manager for Snap-on tools for over 15 years and retired in 1992. After retiring for the second time, Emmet enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. Emmet is preceded in death by his Parents Chester and Victoria. He is survived by his bride Mae Guest; two children, Bryan Guest (Angelia), Pamela Guest (Rick); two siblings, Kay Martin (Clifford), Chester Ray Guest. He had 14 grandchildren: Chase Guest (Amelia), Colter Guest, Shawni Pena (Nick), Josh White, Christopher Lattie (Crystal), Grace Hill (Matt), Grant Burch, Stasha Chiles (David), Cassie Sasser, Emmet Neal Sasser (AnaLeah), Rick Alonzo Jr, George Alonzo, Cassy Alonzo and Pedro Alonzo; and 12 great grandchildren: Emerick, Ember, Ryan, Jake, Levi, Emily, Jackson, Lance, Braden, Olivia, Gage and Penelope. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a small funeral service for the family on January 22, 2021 at Greenhill Funeral Home Chapel, concluding with military honors. Interment is in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Green Hill Funeral Home
