Obituary of Helen Louise Hubbard

Helen Louise Hubbard, a cherished sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, was born to George and Lucille Murphy on February 25, 1934 and left this earth to join our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Helen was born in Adamson, Oklahoma and attended Adamson school where she graduated from the 8th grade. She was the third of ten children: Sylvia, John, Betty, Monroe, Katherine (Boots), Little Jimmy, Marcella (Pinky), Joe, and David. She married Eddie Hubbard Sr. on November 10, 1952. Together they had three children: Linda, Carol, and Eddie Jr. Helen and Eddie lived in Oklahoma, Texas, and California during their marriage. In 1978, Helen became an Electronic Technician at TimeMark Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She worked at TimeMark for 35 years, she retired at 79 years old in 2013. During her time at TimeMark, she became a Lead Technician. Helen had a strong work ethic that she passed on to her family. Helen loved music and was musically talented, she enjoyed playing horseshoes and winning tournaments, mowing her lawn, and burning limbs. She loved to have a pool and take a dip after working in the yard and having family over to swim. She loved to entertain her grandkids and great-grand babies. She took many grandkids to school over the years, and even picked up great grandkids from school after she got off work. Her family was most important to her, there was not anything she would not do for her family. Helen loved to have sleepovers with her sister Boots and talk while watching TV until all hours of the night. She loved cheeseburgers and could make the best chicken and rice. Helen was a devout conservative Republican and a big, big, fan of Rush Limbaugh. Helen liked to drive and loved going to visit family. Her legacy includes all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen is survived by her siblings: sister Katherine (Boots) Billinger, brothers Joe Murphy, and David and wife Donna Murphy. Daughters: Linda and husband Bayless Holman, Carol and husband Rick Looper Sr., Ten Grandchildren: Teresa and husband Timothy Palmer, Rick Looper Jr. and fiancé Misty Smith, Tina and husband Ben Kirkpatrick, Clinton and wife Amy Looper, Michael and wife Kacey Holman, Josh and wife Stacey Hubbard, Casey Conroy and fiancé Vance Powers, Megan and husband Matt Choate, Melinda Peoples and fiancé Randy Bilyeu, Kayla and husband Josh Howard. 22 Great-grandchildren: TJ Compton, Colt Holman, Thomas Palmer, Morgan Holman, Collin Holman, Mitchel Kirkpatrick, Ariel Looper, Traci Palmer, Caden Howard, Mindy Peoples, Diesel Peoples, Adrianna Looper, Grace-Lynn Conroy, Jack Choate, Tyler Howard, Chevy Peoples, Titus Hubbard, Hadley Choate, Andrew Cox, Declan Hubbard, Dean Cox, and Cashton Looper. She is preceded in death by: mother and father George & Lucille Murphy, husband Eddie Hubbard Sr., son Eddie Hubbard Jr, siblings John Murphy, Sylvia Murphy, Betty Hubbard, Monroe Murphy, Little Jimmy, and Marcella Hubbard.
