Obituary of Sharon Kay Rhine
Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sharon Kay Rhine, a beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, died February 2, 2021. She was born on May 10, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years Billy Rhine, her parents James and Donna Hardison, brother Eddie Hardison, and brother-in-law Larry Rhine.
Sharon attended school at Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa. She was a servant of the Lord, having accepted Christ early in life while attending West Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church.
Sharon worked at Care Dynamics in Tulsa for many years as a loving caregiver. She provided compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. She ended up having to quit work permanently due to her own ongoing health concerns.
Her life was a living example of this Bible verse from Ephesians 4:32: “And be kind and compassionate to one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had an artistic ability and loved drawing portraits and designing fashions. She showed her compassionate nature by inviting family members as well as others into her home in their times of need. She would give you the “shirt off her back”, helping out anyone she could. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and had a passion for cooking. With Sharon, there was always more than enough food to share. She would even lend her own vehicle to help a loved one in need.
Sharon is survived by her siblings: sisters Denise (significant other Kenny), Victoria (husband Steven), and Nanette (fiancé Calvin), and brothers Tom (wife Marilyn), and James. Her daughters: Amber, Tiffany, Cheyanne, and Sara. Her grandchildren: Isaac and Isabella. Brothers-in-law: Donald, and Oscar (wife Tonya).
She will truly be missed by a much-loved host of family members and friends.
