Obituary of BONNIE ROMINE

Bonnie Bay Romine passed from this world to her Heavenly Home on Monday, November 9, 2009 after a short battle with cancer.  She was born to James Fry and Stella Sturgis Fry on August 12, 1923.  Bonnie grew up and went to school in Kellyville, Oklahoma.  She met Vergil Romine and married him on September 27, 1941.  Of this marriage, they had five children: Gary, Lonnie, Virgil, Dolores and Patsy.  Bonnie went through life with many trials and tribulations but her Faith in God and His Work got her through it all.  Bonnie was a giver, she would help anyone in any way she could.  During her lifetime she attended the Kellyville Free Holiness Church and The Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Sapulpa.  She had a heart full of love for her family, but if a situation came up and you were right she would agree fully with you, but if you were wrong she was never afraid to set you straight. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother and father; Stella and James Fry, husband; Vergil, son; Lonnie, sister; Sylvia Cheesman and brother; Finley Fry.  Bonnie is survived by son, Gary D. Romine,  wife, Susie and their children, Rich Romine and wife Christine, David Romine and wife, Dierdra and JR Romine;  daughter-in law (Lonnie's wife), April Romine, their children, Jon Romine and Jacque Lamrock; son, Virgil Romine,Jr., wife, Helen and their children, Kim Rake and husband, Alan and Kevin Hiett; daughter, Dolores  Thomas, husband, Ronnie and their children, Jim Thomas and wife, Shelley, Rhonda Sue Thomas, Tina M. Henke and husband, Tom; daughter, Patsy A. Hoover , husband Glenn and her son, Buck Harjo.  She is also survived by 11 great grand children and nephews, Leon Cheesman and family, David Fry and family and Johnnie Fry and family. Memorials: The family is requesting donations be made to the Assistance in Health Care, Inc, PO Box 700392, Tulsa, Ok 74170. Visitation: Tuesday 11-10-09, 2:00 - 9:00 PM, and Wednesday 9:00 AM - 9:00PM Service: Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2009 at The Westside Freewill Baptist Church in Sapulpa with the Reverends David Taylor and Preach Millard McGuire officiating. Cemetery:   Burial will take place at Kellyville City Cemetery.  Casket Bearers will be JR Romine, Rich Romine, David Romine, Jon Romine, Buck Harjo, and Jim Thomas with honorary bearers being Jerry McGuire, JD Goodman and John Reese. The family has chosen to entrust the services to directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
