Please share a memory of Crystal to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Crystal Autumn “Baby Girl” Tate Northrup of Miami, Oklahoma born November 20, 1976 in Sapulpa Oklahoma gained her angel wings on February 12, 2021. Crystal loved time outdoors and gardening, her backroad adventures were some of her most precious times. Crystal enjoyed hiking the trails at Chandler park and showing her children how to laugh and enjoy life. Crystal was known for her beautiful smile and always shared it with everyone and she never knew a stranger. She had a very kind heart and was known to give items to the homeless that were blessed enough to cross her path. Crystal always made her experiences with her children memorable and went above and beyond to create even a movie night something special. Crystal loved music and especially enjoyed listening to her daughter Carystla sing and would also join in to make it a fun duet. Crystal enjoyed playing games and doing art projects with her son Carter and even created an art wall to display their creations. Crystal loved to create good food and she also had a knack for creating beautiful bracelets. Crystal would always tell her children that she was “39” and make them repeat this to her. Crystal lived unapologetically and when you were loved by her you knew it. Her son Carter would say that when he told her “I love you”, Crystal would answer “I love you more”. Crystal embodied the spirit of a wildflower, she was naturally beautiful, never planted, rare, spreading joy wherever she was found, highly enthusiastic and delightful. She is survived by her mother Jerri Rae Maupin of Sapulpa, her children Timothy John “TJ” Harrell (27) of Tulsa, OK, Jimmy Moore (24) of Oklahoma City, Carson Jones (19) of West Tulsa. Her youngest children Carystla Autumn Northrup (14) and Carter Tate (11) reside in Skiatook with Crystal’s husband Joe Northrup; her sisters Trish and Karl Shipley of Glendale, Arizona, Melanie C’ann Tate of Tulsa, Oklahoma and brother Cody Tate of Miami, Oklahoma. Crystal’s nieces and nephews Skye, Jacob, CJ, Lila, Isabelle “Izzy” and Jackson that had their own special memories of Aunt Crystal.
