Leslie and Family,
What a beautiful service loving tribute the service was for Ken. He was truly an inspiration to many and will be sorely missed and remembered. Know that our hearts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Know that it will be so hard, but knowing that his pain is now gone and that he is in the loving arms of our savior will give you comfort.
Regards,
Dale and Debbie

My condolences to Leslie and all of Ken's family members. Ken was a great man and an outstanding brother-in-law. When he would visit he used to share stories of his childhood and Life experiences. One of my favorite stories was about his Vietnam experience.
He and his platoon completed their patrol and we're being extracted by helicopter. As they were getting on the helicopter he was the last one about to board when the crew told them they had too many people and that he would have to stay behind until another chopper could pick him up. So the crew threw him a case of ammo and told them another chopper would pick him up shortly. Well it was getting dark when the next chopper finally arrived to pick him up. He said that the greatest sound he'd ever heard in Vietnam was the sound of the incoming chopper that arrived to take him back to base.He also said that you did not want to be in the jungle after dark even if you did have a case of ammo with you.

Ken was a great man! He was always ready to help and had a great smile! I once called upon him in tears when my cat was stuck in my car engine and I had to get to work. He had plans that morning with Leslie, but came over anyway and rescued the poor kitty. He was so patient and kind.
All family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My big brother was a very caring person. He looked after me as a child and taught me how $.50 would fill my gas tank....until he went into the service and it suddenly cost almost $5.00. He never told me that he paid for my gas...his friend did. He was always doing for others.
RIP Ken, I will love you forever. ❤️❤️
