Obituary of Kimberly Dawn Owen

Kimberly Dawn Owen was born on April 17, 1993 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents Dirk and Laynetta Owen (Deckard). She was called to her Heavenly Home on March 22, 2021. Kimberly was raised and attended school in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Whether you knew her as Kim, Kimmy, Kimbo, or Kimmy Kimmy Dawn Dawn, you knew you were loved by her. She left behind a legacy in 27 years that most could only dream of. She was a devoted mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. At her time of passing, Kim was a manager for Re-Up Cannabis Dispensary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She absolutely loved her job and her work family. She loved all children and was a proud member of the Tulsa Missing Child Recovery Team. She had a way of making everyone feel like they were her best friend. She will always be remembered for her friendliness, spunky personality and willingness to help anyone. She will be greatly missed. Kimberly is survived by her parents Dirk and Jennifer Owen & Laynetta and Charles Deckard; siblings Candice, Scott, Tiffany, Christina, Megan, Bryson and Tyson; her children Shaila, Jace, Ja’Kyrin, Ma’Kyia and Zai’King; her boyfriend Trey; great grandmother Ila Owen along with many other family members and friends. Kimberly is preceded in death by her paternal great grandfather William Owen, Sr.; paternal grandfather William Owen, Jr.; maternal grandfather Jimmy Milligan Sr.; maternal grandfather Jack David Burgess Sr.; maternal grandmother Dorothy Burgess-Fine; maternal great grandmother Dorothy Wilson; maternal step grandfather Woodrow Wilson, along with numerous other relatives. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Her final resting place will be Green Hill Memorial Gardens cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
