Obituary of Gary Bruce Million

Gary “Bruce” Million was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on January 22, 1947 to parents Dale and Norma Million, and left this life for his Heavenly home on March 24, 2021. Bruce attended Daniel Webster High School and then joined the United States Army and went to Vietnam on July 28, 1964. He was a door gunner in the Army’s 227th Assault Battalion, 1st Air Calvary Division. After two tours of duty, he was honorably discharged on June 24, 1967. He came back to Oklahoma and married the love of his life Dolly on November 18, 1968. He then began his career as a truck driver working for DX and retiring from Wonder Bread in 2009. He enjoyed listening to all music, but he especially enjoyed old country music. He enjoyed his bass boat, which he took his son and nephews on many skiing and fishing trips. He also enjoyed his old custom cars and trucks, along with his favorite place to be, his shop. He most especially loved spending time with his family and friends, whom he loved very much. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Million; his father, Dale Million; his mother, Norma Million; and his oldest brother, James Leon Million. He is survived by one son, John Million of Tulsa; two daughters, Debbie Howard of Glenpool and Melissa Brown of Tulsa; four grandchildren, Richard Howard, Madison Goodfox, Cole Brown, and Jackson Brown; two great grandchildren, Avery and Macy McGonigal. He is also survived by two brothers, George Million and Joel & Sandy Million; and one sister, Melinda & Roger Johnson all of Tulsa, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
