Waymon Monroe Glover was born on January 27, 1947 in Greenbrier, Arkansas to his parents Wayne Dee Glover and Colleen Yardley Byram. He left us here on this earth to be with our Lord in Heaven on April 4, 2021 at the age of 74 years young. On August 7, 1967 at Natura Baptist Church is where Waymon married the love of his life, Linda Sue Barnes. Waymon and Sue were married for over 53 years. Waymon worked for Frankoma Pottery for over 35 years while he and his wife raised their son Johnny. He worked the night shift from 6:00pm-6:00am as a night security guard and kiln operator. He would work all night but still make time to practice with Johnny before going back to work. He suffered from muscular dystrophy but always found a way to play catch, throw grounders, or throw passes with Johnny every day of the week. Waymon also enjoyed Nascar. He collected the die cast cars and watched them race every Sunday. He was also a devoted OU football and OKC Thunder fan. Waymon loved his family and especially his grandchildren, as he could be caught giving them rides on his wheelchair and pulling them around the yard in a little red wagon. Waymon is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Phillip, and his sister-in-law Jeana Glover. Waymon is survived by his wife: Linda Sue Glover of the home; son: Johnny Dwayne Glover and wife Kristi of Missouri; siblings: brother, Sanford Glover of Florida, sister, Kay Barnes and husband Kenneth of Texas, sister, Melissa Robinson and husband Terry Don of Arkansas; grandchildren: Tori Glover, Cole Glover, Braden Williamson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
