Paul L. Pompa Obituary Paul L. Pompa was born May 25, 1936, in Durant, OK to Manuel Pompa, Sr. and Sophia Mayberry Pompa. He passed from this life June 23, 2021, in Tulsa, OK. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and daughter Donna Nichols. Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Pompa, his son Paul G. Pompa and wife Carrie of Tulsa, OK, son Keith Pompa and wife Kelly of Sapulpa, OK, daughter Angelita Graham and husband Dale of Tulsa, OK and daughter Doreen Hoover and husband Troy of Broken Arrow, OK, and sister Virginia Pendergrass of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews. Paul married Ruth Lovell on July 29, 1954, in Tulsa, OK. They were residents of Tulsa, OK for the entirety of their marriage. Paul was employed as a mechanic for many of his working years. In his retirement, he continued to enjoy his mechanic work, fishing, and traveling with friends. Paul enjoyed time with his family, particularly during holidays and family get togethers. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paul loved watching sports on TV as well as his favorite western shows. He was blessed to have such a large family. He was cherished by everyone and will be missed by all.
