Obituary of Rebecca Ilynn McCoy

Rebecca Ilynn McCoy (Becky), age 43, was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at Bartlett Hospital on June 10, 1978, to Raymond and Cheryl McCoy. Rebecca was called home to her Lord on July 3, 2021, at 9:32 am. Becky was preceded in death by her beloved father, Raymond McCoy. She is survived by her loving mother, Cheryl June (Town) McCoy, her dear siblings; Melinda Crouch, Richard (Ricky) McCoy and wife Pamela, Brenda McCoy, and Virginia McCoy as well as her beloved nieces and nephews; Chelsea Carroll, and husband Chris, Tyler Evans and partner Heather King, Caleb Evans, Lauren Crouch, Randy Jones and family, Catesa Smith and family, Jimmy Jones and family, Danny Jones and family, Tasha McCoy and partner Khristiian Blaylock, Fredirick Castillo, Carlos Castillo, Rose Castillo, Victoria Castillo, and Kinley Schmidt. Then comes her very favorite of the whole bunch, her great nieces and nephews; Olivia Sedersten Carroll, Christopher (Boo) Carroll II, Elijah Carroll, Liam Evans, Kaiden Blaylock, Maya Blaylock, Bailey Jones, Gracie Jones and her sister of the heart, Misty Knight. Although she struggled most of her life with her health, she was a bright light to everyone she knew. She liked collecting angels and could not put down a good book and her diet Dr. Pepper, but her greatest joy and love was her family. No matter how awful she physically felt, she seemed to always find the strength to make sure her dad and mom were taken care of. Anytime she felt down, she would just grab a niece or nephew and snuggle to watch a good Disney movie. In the end, she was blessed with a large and loving family that will cherish all the memories. She will be severely missed by all, and we will especially miss those Christmas cookies.
