Betty Jane Rivers was born to parents Johnny and Thelma Wells on December 10th, 1937 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She departed this earth on July 4th, 2021.
Betty married Carl Rivers on June 2, 1956 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She owned and operated Wholesale Petroleum from 1971 until 2000. She was a 20-year member of the AQHA. She enjoyed going to horse races and she was owner of several.
Betty will be greatly missed by her family & friends.
Betty is survived by son Marty Rivers and wife Debbie; grandson Jimmy Rivers and wife Sonya; grandson Mitch Rivers and wife Taylar; granddaughter Rachel Rivers-Smith; great-granddaughters Aniston & Amelia Smith; and great-grandsons Camdyn & Hudson Rivers.
Services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Green Hill Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with interment in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is scheduled on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Green Hill Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Green Hill Funeral Home. www.greenhillok.com
