Please share a memory of Tammi to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tammi Annette Steeples (Newton) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was born to her parents Ray and Judy (Owen) Newton on March 3, 1967, in Fort Worth, Texas. Tammi left this life on earth, for her Heavenly life, at 7:42 p.m. on July 9, 2021. Tammi is preceded in death by her father, Ray Newton, her brother, Darrell Newton and by her infant daughter, Cara Sue Steeples. She is survived by her husband, Jason Trent Steeples, her mother, Judy (Owen) Newton, her son Justin, her son, Corbin, and his wife Cheyanne, her son, Cameron, and her daughter, Cassidee. She is also survived by her grandchild, Callie Grace, as well as a nephew, Lane Newton, Uncle Larry Owen and his wife Pat and Aunt Sue Coggins and many cousins and friends. Tammi worked in the food service industry for several years, but later decided to stay home and take care of family. She loved staying home and being a wife and a mother. She was immensely proud of her children. One thing about Tammi was she loved to keep up with all her friends on Facebook. She had lots of friends she went to school with and new friends she met. If you were a friend of hers, she loved you very much. Penny and Pam were two incredibly special friends who called and visited her often. Thank you all for helping her and being her friend. Tammi loved her beloved dog Min-Min. The biggest highlight of her life lately was when her grandchild Callie was born. Tammi was extremely happy and excited to be called Nana! Tammi will be missed by all who knew her, because to know her was certainly to love her.
