Obituary of Jackie Lee Myers

Jackie Lee Myers was born December 26, 1951 to Winnie Jewel and Charles Franklin Myers. He was the youngest of 6 children. Jackie married the love of his life, Sharon, in February 1971. They had two girls, Amy and Jenny. Jackie worked for Southwestern Bell from 1974 to 2003. Jackie was a man of Christ and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was fun loving and a jokester. He was always telling old wives’ tales. He was an avid gardener, was an amazing cook and loved to cook for the family. He loved to give gifts and would help anyone in need. Jackie was Paw Paw to five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon Myers, sister Kathy Molina, brother-in-law Ozzie Oliveros, nieces Bridgette Hardeman Ridgway and Belinda Graef. Jackie is survived by his daughters Amy Hess and Jenny Walser; Amy’s husband Mike and their three children Samantha and Drew Dunlap (their three girls, Olivia, Rhiannon and Lillian “Bug”); Michael and Kayla Hess (their two children Amelia “Monkey” and Michael); Matthew and Makayla Hess (their son Maddox); Jenny and Mike Walser (their 6 children); Cassie Gerke (her two sons Zaiden and Oliver); Morgan Moritz (her daughter Emma); Torie and Nick Vaughan (their daughter Aurora); Noah Walser; Megan Smart; and Ashley Smart and Bo Shepard (their daughter Hayden). He is also survived by his sister Patsy Graef, brothers Johnny, Gary, and Kenny Myers and their families; sister-in-law Debbie Oliveros (and family); brother-in-law Gary Marks (and family); along with many nieces and nephews.
