Arvil L. Spirlock was born on August 31, 1948, to his parents Bennett and Doris Spirlock, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Arvil passed away on his 73rd birthday, August 31, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arvil had three brothers and one sister. He married his wife, Etta, on November 29, 1997, and they were married for 24 years until his passing. The couple lived in Sapulpa, Oklahoma where they raised their three children. Arvil worked in the heating and air conditioning industry for 41 years before his first retirement in 2012. He retired from Soder Mechanical after 34 years and was currently employed with River Spirit as a Stationary Engineer. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, his grandkids, storytelling, and a casino or two! Arvil is preceded in death by his parents; Bennett and Doris Spirlock, his brother; Jerry Spirlock and his K9 daughter; Baylee Spirlock. He is survived by his wife; Etta Spirlock, siblings: brothers; Tony Spirlock and John Spirlock, sister; Ginger Johnson, children: daughters; Darcee Burgess (Allen McKellips) and DeAnza Ferrari (James Sanders), son; Tyler Spirlock (Briana Spirlock), grandchildren; Chloe Burgess, Taylor Burgess, Caden Spirlock, Hadley Spirlock, and Olivia Spirlock, K9 children; Ally and Izzy Spirlock. Arvil was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
