Pat and Pete were two of our favorite friends. We spent many trips vacationing with them to places like Branson where we stayed at a condo on a lake south of town. We would always spend one to two weeks every summer in Oklahoma with them. From there we would venture to many wonderful places. Some of our favorites were Galveston, western Texas, Brownsville and many places in Oklahoma. Pete was normally our driver and of course we were never lost.
We wnt fishing in Galveston and caught a crap ton of fish. It was a little rough and we also fed a few. We sold our fish at the dock and paid for our trip. The vacations were very relaxing as we could just set, have a little liquid refreshment and talk. Pete had a very kind heart and a rather interesting gift of gab. We may have met some strangers, but can not remember ever leaving them as strangers. Every one like Pete.
May he set in peace with the Lord. He is probably tryin to talk him into a better car right now.
