Obituary of Donald Wayne Johnson, Jr.

Donald Wayne Johnson Jr was born in Alva, OK, on August 5, 1949, to Donald Wayne Johnson Sr and Pauline Erma Johnson. Don was the oldest of three children. Don entered the gates of heaven on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was 72 years old. He is proceeded in death by his mother Pauline Erma Johnson, his brother Randy Dale Johnson, his son in law Carl Dean Linker along with other cherished family members. Don is survived, by the love of his life, Judy Johnson. They were happily married for the past 42 years. His three children are Corey Johnson, Shannon Canady, and his wife, Sarah, and daughter Dana Linker. His father, Donald Johnson Sr and his wife, Corene, His Brother Dennis Johnson and his, wife Connie, ten grandkids, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Don was a devoted family man who always placed his family first. His grandchildren were the apples of his eye. He never missed an event or assembly. Don loved his church family dearly. For the last 18 years, he has called Canyon Road Baptist Church his home. One of Don's passions was teaching Sunday School. He taught Sunday school classes throughout his life. Don had started his work journey at the age of eleven when he started his paper route before he finally retired in 2015 from Tulsa FinTube, where he was the Shop Bend Supervisor for 16 years. Don will be greatly missed by all that know and love him. *There will be no viewing or visitation for Mr. Johnson.*
