Obituary of Rhonda Sue Blansett

Rhonda Sue (Randell) Blansett was born January 27, 1972 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Richard McCarthy and Mary Randell McCarthy. She left this world for her Heavenly home September 29, 2021 at the age of 49. Rhonda loved life, her family, her animals (her dogs-Teddy, Tucker, Uggie, Gypsy, Blue, Hazel, Sugar and JD and her cat-Mama), Freddie’s tabouli, cross stitch and other arts and crafts and she got excited every year about going to the Tulsa State Fair. She also enjoyed walking and hiking. Some favorite places were River Parks, the Gathering Place and Turkey Mountain. Rhonda worked with her husband Michael in Faith Alive Ministries. The couple worked with the homeless, traveled around the country doing tent revivals and worked in any other way the Lord led. She loved the lake, and her favorite spot was Walnut Creek at Prue Lake. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved the Friday night get togethers at her brother Mitchell’s house. She would always call Mitchell to ask him “What’s for dinner?” During the time with family, she loved getting a chance to hold and love the babies. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father James Richard McCarthy. She is survived by her husband, Michael Blansett; sons Bobby Joe Blansett, Chase Cooper and Levi Cooper; mother Mary Randell McCarthy; brothers Mitchell McCarthy and Christopher McCarthy; as well as a host of loving family and friends. Rhonda has entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord but her family and friends will treasure the many memories made until they are reunited with her in Heaven. Rhonda's service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the River of Life Tabernacle, 458 S. 61st West Avenue Tulsa, OK 74127. Please send any flowers for the service to Green Hill Funeral Home by 4:00 pm on Friday, October 8th to ensure they are available for their service.
