Obituary of David Wayne Covey

David Wayne Covey David was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 20th, 1973. He passed away at St. John's Medical Center on October 13th, 2021, at the age of 48. David was a disabled Army Veteran and worked on cars. He graduated from OSU, where he received his bachelor's degree in autobody and mechanics. David spent most of his free time painting and working on cars, old tricycles, and wagons. He also enjoyed helping his mother. David is preceded in death by his father, Fred Covey Sr.; brother Fred Covey Jr.; and stepfather George Friend. David is survived by his mother, Lynda Friend and niece, Breeanna Covey of the home; his children, daughter Callie Covey of Broken Arrow, sons, William Covey of Sand Springs, and Kamden Covey of Broken Arrow; and his only grandchild, Cayden Gragg.
