Obituary of Deborah Dian Lay

Deborah (Debbie) Dian Owens Lay 65 years old of Sapulpa OK passed away October 21, 2021. She was born 1956 in Hays, Kansas to Weldon and Maxine Owens. She had 4 siblings, Charline, Connie, Weldon II and Larry. On March 4th, 1977 she married her husband Allen R. Lay Sr. they were married 44 years. They had 2 children Jenny R. Lay and Allen R. Lay Jr. (AJ). Her grandson Jordan Beck-Lay was a huge shining light in life. She was a loving and wonderful Sibling, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, Great-Great Aunt, Sister-In-Law and Friend. She would help anyone she could to the best of her abilities. She loved her Family and Friends fiercely. If you knew her, you know Elvis, Bingo, Slots, and Football (KC CHIEFS) were her passion. Anything Elvis...music, movies, memorabilia, anything. We always joked Elvis owned more in the house then we did. Bingo was anytime and/or anywhere she could find a place to play. She could set at a slot for hours for that Jackpot. If you were around and a Football game was on you knew not to disturb her and if in the same room with a game on you needed ear plugs and make sure to be across the room because things could and would fly.
