Obituary of Corde Allen Lamb

Corde Allen Lamb was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 6, 1990, to Clayton J Lamb and Ardath Lamb (Beers). He unexpectedly departed this life on October 27, 2021, while in Austin, TX for a short-term work project. Corde attended school in Mounds, OK from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 2009 as the Salutatorian of his class. He was in the Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2008. He worked with his dad in construction growing up and then worked for two different plumbing companies, becoming a licensed Journeyman Plumber in 2011. He worked as an apprentice the last three years in the International Union of Elevator Constructors #83 (Tulsa, OK) through TK Elevator. Corde established his career there and enjoyed it very much. He helped numerous friends and family with home remodels, general repairs, and various car projects over the years. Corde was selfless and determined, and all who knew him will forever be grateful for the time he was here. Losing Corde will leave a hole in all of us, and he will be dearly missed. Corde leaves his mother and father; brothers, Justin, and Benjamine Lamb; sister, Kristianne Slatcher; brother-in-law, Jordan Slatcher; fiancée, Shelby Smith; grandmother, Aleen Lamb; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. Corde was preceded in death by his grandparents, F. Bert Lamb, Monte D. Beers, and Gwen Beers, and uncles, Kameron Kern and Dean Beaulieu. A viewing will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Green Hill Funeral Home from 5pm – 8pm at 400 East Teel Road, Sapulpa, OK. A viewing will also be at 11am with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 950 Pioneer Road (off Hwy 117), Sapulpa, OK. Interment will be at the Oakwood Cemetery, 202 South McNabb Drive, Mounds, OK.
