Doris Marietta Davis, 67 years old, received her angel wings alongside her parents, James R. Davis and Mary Davis (Robertson). This beautiful baby girl named Doris was born on October 11, 1954. Doris will be remembered for her many acts of kindness, especially for giving lots of hugs to loved ones, friends, and even strangers. She loved music, watching funny videos/movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She also had a special relationship with our Heavenly Father; she loved reading her bible, quoting scripture, and praying. Doris served in the community as a loving teacher to many young children working at Washington Elementary and Sapulpa Headstart. She also worked as a loving caretaker for the disabled and the elderly. She served in the community well and will be missed by many. Doris is survived by 3 sons. Doris and Michael Chaney, who precedes her in death, together parented Michaelon D. Davis, Darieon T. Davis, and Traeon S. Davis and his fiancé Shay Harris. Doris is also survived by 4 loving grandchildren: Ty’anna Davis, Ty’ree Davis, Trae Michael Davis, and Tylond Davis. She is survived by her baby sister LaDonna Stevens and her husband Alexis Stevens, James Davis (brother) his wife Kathy Davis and Richard Brown (brother).
