Obituary of Shane Alan Horn

Shane Alan Horn, age 41, was taken from this world on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was a resident of Mounds, Oklahoma. He was born to his mother, Deborah Horn and his biological father, David Smith on June 10, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was later adopted by Toby Horn at age 9. He is the eldest sibling of three boys. Toby Horn Jr. being the next oldest and Grant Horn, the youngest. Shane was the husband of Kara Horn, married on April 23, 2020. He professed his belief in Christ early on in life. He was a son, brother, father, cousin, grandfather, husband, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was a lovable, artistic carpenter and guitarist. He was resilient and ornery. He leaves his cherished memory to us all, but especially to his biological children Kaleb, Helen, Gage, Elijiah, and Ava. He has also left behind cherished memories to his stepchildren Triston, Landon, and Madeline (Maddie). He is also survived by his grandma Kelly Davis; one new grandchild named, Paris; one nephew Easton Horn; and one niece Katie Horn; his sister-in-law, Bethany Horn; sister-in-law Destiny Vanarsdel; sister-in-law Erin Parker; brother-in-law, Dustin Parker; 5 aunts, Janice Harmon, Tracy Cox, Kathy Sawyers, and Michelle Castleberry, Kelly Horn and Tina Kempker; 6 uncles, TK Harmon, Bobby Cox, and Clint Castleberry; Charlrick Horn, Henry Horn, and Ed Kempker; 13 cousins, Staci Harmon, Preston Cox , Joe Harmon, Jennifer Stringfellow, Aaron Castleberry, Emily Castleberry, and Allison Castleberry; Ryan, Talia, Kelly Marie, Hannah, Hailee, and Cullen Horn; as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma, Jack Sawyers and Jackie Sawyers.
