Obituary of Joe Allen Stark

After a hard fought battle with aggressive cancer, Joe Allen Stark of Collinsville, OK, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at the age of 73. He leaves behind his beloved wife Rhonda Carlene Stark also of Collinsville, OK. One sister, Sue Weaver of Broken Arrow, OK. Two brothers and their spouses; Terry & Deanna Stark of Springdale, AR and Jerry & Sheri Stark of Bartlesville, OK. Three sons and their spouses; Jeff & Kendra Estes of Bartlesville, OK, Steve & Jenny Sutherland of Oolagah, OK, and Ben & Angie Sutherland of Skiatook, OK. Nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as numerous other family members and friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents. Joe was born on June 11. 1948 in Bartlesville, OK to father Joel James Stark and mother Marjorie Lee Stark. He was a proud graduate of College High School. Joe was a proud member of the United States Army with his service beginning on March 18, 1968. He served 6 months in Germany before volunteering for service in Vietnam. He was assigned to Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MAC-V). He courageously served his country until his honorable discharge on November 8, 1970. He was a war hero and continued to love and honor America for the rest of his life. Joe loved to hunt, garden, and fish in his spare time. He was an attentive and loving husband, a caring brother, a cherished Dad and hands down “THE BEST PAPA IN THE WORLD!!!” “If Papa can’t fix it, you don’t need it” Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 7. 2022 at 2 pm in the chapel of Green Hill Funeral home in Owasso.
