Obituary of Willard Manuel Still

Willard Manuel Still was born on September 20, 1944, in St. Joe, Arkansas. On January 9, 2022, at age 77 years old, he went home to be with the Lord and his mom and dad. He grew up in St. Joe, Arkansas on the Ozark Mountain hillsides where he was either working on the farm with his siblings or gaining up on his sister with his brothers and putting her in tires and rolling her on down the hills. He found his way to Tulsa, Oklahoma after serving and protecting our country in Vietnam where he served in the military for 2 years as an Army Sharpshooter Rifle. He loved to hunt and fish in his younger years with his brother James and any other family that wanted to go. As the years past, you would always be able to find him at any local casino going from one slot to the next and then back to the same one he had forgotten he had just won on and sitting there wondering why he is playing it again. He loved his family and his grandchildren very much. He was not a man of many words but had a heart pure as gold. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lily Pearl Still; father, James Andrew Still; and his brother, Jimmy Baker. He is survived by his sister, Linda Ditterline of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Louis Still of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and James Still of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son, Sean Still of Haskell, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Shawnee Still of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Stetson Still of Liberty, Oklahoma; one great grandchild, Louden Cortez; two sister-in-law, Sharon Still and Connie Still of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, Bill Ditterline of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; 7 nephews: Tony Chadwick, Tracy Still, Allen Still, Steven Still, Kevin Still, Danny Baker, Rick Baker; 3 nieces: Beverly Still-Matos, Sandra Still-Mathis, Barbara Rhone; many great nieces and nephews. He was a man with such a kind and gracious soul that you couldn’t help but love. He had his faith and love for Jesus and God. He will be missed so much by his family until they meet again in Heaven.
