Obituary of Ronald Louie McKay

Ronald Louie McKay was born on August 31, 1947, in Viburnum, Missouri to his Parents, Floyd Leslie McKay and Beulah Mae (Payne) McKay. He passed from this life to join his savior in Heaven on January 8, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ronnie married his loving wife, Margie in Gainesville, TX on May 26, 1969, they were married for a wonderful 52 years. He worked for Dee Waid Ford in the early 70’s and then for McGill Inc in Tulsa for several years as a drill press operator before retiring. He loved to work on cars and to go fishing and hunting. He also liked music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Ron always enjoyed spending time with family and having family get togethers. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Hilda, Wilma, Thelma, Freda, Leslie Junior, Jessie, Larry, Bobby, and Doug. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Margie) of the home. He is also survived by his son, Ronald Dewayne McKay and his wife, Loretta of Skiatook; his two grandchildren, Adam Dewayne McKay of Skiatook and Haley Marie McKay of Tulsa. Ron is also survived by 2 brothers, Rainey McKay of Lovington, New Mexico and Jerry McKay of Sundown, Texas. Many nephews and nieces also survive him. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Burial will follow.
