Obituary of Joyce Jean Olansen

Joyce Jean O’Lansen was born on September 20 1956, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on January 27, 2022, at her home in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Preceded in death she will be met by her father, Charles Anthony and mother, Margie jean O’Lansen both of Glenpool, Oklahoma; her brother, Charles Allen O’Lansen; grandparents, Daniel and Ruby O’Lansen; grandmother, Dottie White and a few others in heaven awaiting her arrival. Survivors of Joyce include David and Gayle Ford, Dale and Sandie O’Lansen of Glenpool; Michael and Elizabeth McCall of Muskogee; David and Jerria Ford of Sapulpa; Charles and Mariah Ford, Michael and Anna McCall of Glenpool; Stephan and Jalex McCall, Josh McCall if Muskogee; and Dylan and Shania “McCall” Arnold of Tulsa. Joyce never married or had any children of her own, but she took care of so many as if they were her own. This was her passion and it all started out in the late 70’s and ended in 2022 with her death (3 generations) of what we call motherhood for her. To name a few that she left behind: Davis, Charles, and Sterling Ford; Michael, Josh, and Stephan McCall; Shaina “McCall” Arnold; Christopher Troxell; Dusti “O’Lansen” Morris what was aunt “2nd mom figure” then came the great aunt “also 2nd mom figure” Taryn, Michael, and Morgan McCall; Hurricane Troglin; Ryder Ford; Landon McGuire, Maizey Smith; and then last but not least came the great great aunt “2nd mom figure” to Tabitha “Tabs McCall” Eipp. She loved her get togethers with family, whether it was just to chat or have a big party. It is now time for her to be taken care of by the Lord. Love and miss you forever Joyce, until we meet again.
