Obituary of Adam DeWayne McKay

On November 26th, 1996, Adam DeWayne McKay was born to DeWayne and Loretta McKay in Claremore, OK. He passed away on January 29th, 2022, in Tulsa, OK at the age of 25. Adam was raised in Skiatook, OK, he attended Skiatook Public Schools Pre-K through 12th and graduated in 2015. As a kid, Adam and his Paw started watching Thomas the Tank Engine. His love of trains grew from there to N scale model trains and N scale train shows with his family and family friends. God blessed him with the talent to play the organ. He loved playing the organ for his Church. He loved his church family and going to lunch on Sunday`s with them. Candy Lawrence, he loved sharing his trash with you. Adam worked for Green Hill Funeral Home in Owasso and loved his job. Adam is survived by his parents, DeWayne, and Loretta McKay of Skiatook, OK; His Maw, Margie McKay of Skiatook, OK; PePaw, Clyde Byrd of Muskogee, OK; sister, Haley McKay of Tulsa, OK. And a host of cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his Paw, Ronnie McKay and Me Maw, Letha Byrd. Adam was a blessing, and he will be greatly missed. We are thankful he was our son, grandson, brother, and friend. In lieu of flowers, the Mckay family would like donations to be made to the Shelter Freewill Baptist Church in Collinsville.
