Eva “Nell” Shoaf, was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Wilbur and Berta Leake on February 1, 1927, the second of seven children. She left this life to be with Jesus at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 5, 2022 at the age of 95. Nell married the love of her life, husband William Dock Shoaf. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1997. She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed cooking, antiquing, embroidery, sewing, quilting, gardening. While she did not knit, she did enjoy spinning a good yarn. She was the best storyteller especially if she made up or heavily embellished the story.
