Obituary of Michael Anthony Ellis

Michael Anthony Ellis went to be with Jesus on February 14, 2022. Mike was born in Syracuse, New York on April 16, 1960 to Dewane and Dorthy Ellis. When Michael was a teenager, the family relocated to Southern California and then on to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mike was a genuine man of God. He celebrated 19 years of sobriety through Celebrate Recovery. Mike was a carpenter at WillScot and a hardworking, selfless man. He had a generous heart and loved sharing the love of Christ with everyone he came in contact with. Mike was a family man. He loved his wife of nearly 13 years, Elizabeth and his children Chasity Edwards, Vandale Smith, Malachi Ellis, Rachel Ellis and Emilee Ellis along with his stepchildren Robert Lee, Latrisha Thomas and Jennifer Thomas. Michael was proceeded in death by his father Dewane Ellis, sister Carol Stanart and brother Dewane Ellis, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Ellis, wife Elizabeth Ellis, children Malachi, Rachel and Emilee Ellis, daughter Chasity Edwards, son Vandale Smith, stepchildren Robert Lee, Latisha Thomas and Jennifer Thomas, siblings Arthur Ellis and Joyce Anthony. Visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February, 18, 2022 at South Heights Assembly of God in Sapulpa at 10:30 A.M. with graveside service to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa.
