Obituary of Bobby Keith Ritchie

Bobby Ritchie, age 73, passed from this life on February 14, 2022. He was 73 years old. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy Peterson Ritchie, his son Joe Ritchie and his wife Angela of Peoria, AZ, his daughter Christa Garoutte and her husband Rusty of Land O Lakes, FL, granddaughter Shea Gaca and her husband Jacob, his grandson Marshall Garoutte, and his great-grandson Noah Bell. He is also survived by his sisters Ethel Sturdivant and Barbara DelGrosso, and his brothers Kenny Ritchie and Karl Taylor, Sr. Bobby will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Even when the Corps took him around the world, he made sure his wife and children knew he loved them. He taught his children how to be independent and work hard. He taught his grandchildren how to think and take nothing for granted. His patience was never-ending where his grandchildren were concerned, and he never missed an opportunity to make sure they felt like the only person in the world when they were with him. Bobby served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years, earning the rank of Master Sergeant. A true testament to his leadership is seen in the men who served under him that remained his friends for over 30 years after he retired. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced by the family. He was a crusty old Marine and will be missed forever. Semper Fidelis, Top!
