Ada Ethelyn (Rock) Hill was born April 28, 1923 in Haywood, Oklahoma to John E. and Georgia Beatrice Rock. She passed away on January 20, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ada managed and later owned lady's ready to wear clothing stores in McAlester and Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma. She was always "Dressed." Jewelry and Purses were the key! She loved embroidery, cooking (especially for crowds). She was a lady given to hospitality. She enjoyed playing Dominoes and enjoyed toys that moved or made noise. She always loved bright colors, dolls, flowers and shoes. Ada was a Baptist and enjoyed being with her church family. On September 21, 1992 she married J.C. Hill and they were happily married for over 17 years.
Ada is survived by her husband: J.C. Hill of Sapulpa; her two children: Paula Sue Mckaskle Carriger of Tulsa, Oklahoma and William Leon McKaskle of Lake Worth, Texas; her three grandchildren: Bradley C. Carriger of Comanche, Texas, John Paul Carriger of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jenna Mckaskle of Lake Worth, Texas; great grandchildren: Skylar, Madison, Haley and Riley Carriger of Comanche, Texas: brothers; Zelmer Rock and John Rock: sister; Gladys Hulsey and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.
