Louise Putnam of Glenpool, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022 at her daughter’s home. Louise was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on April 24, 1937 to Evit and Fannie (Overtaker) Seaton. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 23 years, Lee Putnam; sisters, Lahoma Lowe and Lillian Ruth Mullins; brothers, Gano, Babe, John and Bob Shanks. Louise is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Owens and husband Fred; one son, Don Butcher and wife Kelli; three grandchildren, Bobby Butcher, Courtney Butcher (Michelle) and Ashlee Jellison (Matt); two great-grandsons, Brayden and Benjamin; one great-granddaughter, Jaden, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Louise was a homemaker, she liked going to garage sales, buying cars, houses, campers, anything to fix up and resell. She loved flowers and had many hanging baskets and pots around her yard. She loved feeding and watching the hummingbirds and had several bird feeders for the other birds. She and Lee enjoyed taking long drives, whether it was to look at the fall leaves or going to Branson. She loved old country music, the louder the better. The family would like to thank Grace Hospice (especially Steven, Wendy, Desarae & Kristen) in Tulsa for the last few months of care and compassion to Louise and her family.
