The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Green Hill Funeral Home in Owasso. Bobby Jack Bradford, age 71, passed away Saturday, February 19th, 2022, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Bob is survived by his wife, Linda Bradford, son, Michael Bradford and his wife Angeline, daughter, Katrina Bradford, sister, Betty Allen, and sister, Angie Hale and her husband Roger. Marrying Linda, he acquired a bonus family of 5 children– Roy Henson, Debbie (Ben) Stubblefield, Thersea Henson, Martie (Ray) Shivers, and Dustin (Tia) Henson, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, plus multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who he greatly loved. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cheryl Bradford, and mother and father, Lloyd and Jean Bradford. Bob was born on January 28, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of Lloyd Jackson Bradford and Jean Bradford. He spent his formative years in the Sperry/ Barnsdall area. Bob attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah where he met his first wife, Cheryl. The couple dated only six months and married March 25, 1972. They were very involved with Chi Alpha, an Assemblies of God college organization. Bob earned his bachelor's degree in Special Education and spent his career devoted to serving children. Early on, Bob also pursued a career in the oil and gas industry, which relocated them to Michigan where he loved the scenery. Family was always a top priority to Bob and Cheryl. They fostered twenty-two children before God provided two children of their own to adopt. Bob then settled in Inola, Oklahoma where they raised their family. Bob taught at Inola Public Schools from 1996 until his retirement in 2013. His first wife, Cheryl passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2017. God was gracious to bring Linda into his life, and they married on March 30, 2018. Bob has always been known for his outgoing personality– he never knew a stranger. He also loved the Lord and purposed to serve Him in all that he did. He volunteered in the community through the Joseph House Food Pantry in Coweta and Claremore Assembly of God. Bob loved to work with his hands and had many building projects going on at any given time. He loved the outdoors and taking road trips with his family, and he recently fulfilled a long-time desire to go back to Michigan, making the trip with Linda in October. Bob loved Jesus with all of his heart and was a great prayer warrior. Bob’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Via Life Hospice for the kindness and compassionate care of Bob.
