Obituary of David Wesley Real

David Wesley Real was called home to Heaven on February 20th, 2022, at the age of 61. David was born on June 8th, 1960, in Tulsa, Ok. David will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Lisa Real, his very loved son Joshua Merciez, his daughter-in-law Annie, and his grandchildren Dylan and Avery, who were his pride and joy. David also leaves behind his loving mother Donna Real. David’s father James Real went to Heaven in 2005 & met him at Heaven’s gate. David will also be missed by his brother Kelly & sister-in-law Phyllis Real, sister Jami & brother-in-law Eric Gougler. David will be remembered fondly by Aunt Wanda & Uncle Wallace Brown, Aunt Sherry Maclean, & Aunt Fonda & Uncle Phill Cooper. David has a large & loving family which includes many cousins, nephews & nieces that will miss him greatly. David is predeceased by wife Karen who went home to Heaven in 2010. Karen’s son Jeremy Salazar, along with David & Karen’s Grandsons Nick & Noah, will miss their grandpa very much. David was blessed to have many friends throughout his life. Special mention of lifelong friends Roger & Julie Merritt and Roger & Liz Gautier. At home with Lisa, David’s dog Sammy will miss his dad every day, but knows he is in Heaven with his kitty siblings Bub, Sis & Bits.
